biography
With formal pottery instruction in Scotland and North Carolina, Heather Hasty Wagner has been creating pieces of art out of clay for nearly twenty years. In 1996 Heather opened the Sacred Mud Pottery Studio, which she specializes in personalized, custom order and pottery lessons.
Heather's work is currently being sold online and various other local art shows. Her communion sets are used and on display at the Columbia Theological Seminary Chapel in Decatur, Georgia and the Northumberland Presbytery Office Montoursville, Pennsylvania. She also teaches pottery lessons in her studio in Montoursville.
Heather is married to Rev. Oliver Wagner, a Presbyterian Pastor, and is the mother of three children. She has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia) and a Master's Degree from Union-PSCE (Richmond, Virginia).
